Ogonnaya Rosemary Smart is an accomplished Professional in Banking, Business Development, and Operations Management and a certified data analyst. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. With over 20 years of diverse experience, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the commercial banking sector, specializing in branch and regional operations, human resource management, relationship management, business analysis, and business development.

Ogonnaya started her banking career as a Customer Service Ofcer at Legacy Prudent Bank Plc, now Polaris Bank Ltd; where she quickly rose through the ranks due to her dedication and performance. She held leadership roles across various departments, eventually serving as Head of Operations for several branches in Port Harcourt. Her outstanding capabilities earned her an appointment as the Regional Branch Coordinator (Regional Operations Manager) for the South-South Region, where she successfully supervised operations across 16 branches and 9 cash centers.

Transitioning to the business unit of one of Port Harcourt’s largest branches, Ogonnaya excelled as the Team Lead for the Small Business Group and Relief Business Development Manager, driving growth and fostering strategic client relationships.
